Calligraphy letter to 38 y/o Me

October 19, 2020 Hey Kyle, hope life is fun. Crazy times we live in now. 2020, year of the Rona. Freshman year of college too, not bad. Tampa is going well; you have managed to make it to the halfway mark of the first semester without messing up too bad. Anyway, enough about me. October 19, 2040. That date sounds crazy. I remember when 2025 or even 2020 sounded like a crazy futuristic year. Went from: starting senior year and having a blast to CoRoNa. Please tell me that there is a vaccine for the virus by now. Hopefully, that would be some good news for this unbelievably shaky year. How’s life for you? How is the family? I hope Mom, Dad, and Cole are doing great. How is YOUR family? How is the Mrs. and the kids? Hopefully, smooth sailing. I wonder what life will be like in 20 years’ time around the world. What kind of technologies are out there, with everything like Tesla and Microsoft getting smarter everyday I feel like there will be a drastic change in how we live. Unlike the last 20 years where undoubtably social media and other phenomenon’s have changed the world, the next 20 years have much more in store for us. Like living on Mars or possibly a functional flying car. That would be crazy and incredible. What ever happened with the career? Did you stick with animation? Was 3D or 2D more your style. Did you even stick with animation? I hope you did. The class is hard but the options for creativity are so intriguing. You can literally make anything you want. Like right now. I am literally tracing my own face with the words in this paragraph. How cool! This type of media is what will help me get up on those tough mornings.
